This past week, I had the privilege of speaking to the current Leadership Sacramento class as they near the end of their year-long journey with the Sacramento Metro Chamber. As both a long-time supporter and a proud sponsor through Delta Print Group, it is an honor to stay connected to a program that continues to shape the next generation of leaders in our region.
I shared my experience entering the 2008 Leadership Sacramento class at the same time I stepped into my first business acquisition.
Those two moments changed the trajectory of my career and laid the foundation for the entrepreneurial and civic leadership path I am on today.
I encouraged this year’s cohort to make the most of the access, experience, and relationships they have built through the program.
“You’ve had a great opportunity to grow over the past year. Now it’s time to stay involved and build on your experiences. You can do more!”
Today, I serve as Vice Chair of the Metro Chamber and remain committed to supporting regional business development, leadership initiatives, and opportunities that strengthen the Sacramento community.
Engaging with emerging leaders reminds me why this work matters and why investing in people is essential to long-term regional success.
Cheers!
