Supporting Sacramento Arts: Delta Print Group Volunteers at the KVIE Art Auction

At Delta Print Group, we believe printing is more than ink on paper. It is a way to connect people, share stories, and strengthen our community. This October, our team had the honor of volunteering with PBS KVIE during the 44th Annual KVIE Art Auction, a long-standing Sacramento tradition that celebrates local artists and supports the programs that make public television possible.

A Sacramento Tradition: The History of the KVIE Art Auction

For more than four decades, the KVIE Art Auction has been one of Northern California’s most beloved cultural events. Each year, KVIE curates and features over 270 works of art created by regional artists. The collection includes paintings, photography, sculpture, and mixed media pieces that reflect the diverse creativity of our region.

The art is showcased online, in the KVIE Gallery, and across broadcast and digital platforms before being auctioned live on PBS KVIE. Every bid helps fund educational programming, arts coverage, and community storytelling. The proceeds ensure that public television continues to educate, inspire, and connect viewers throughout Northern California.

Since its first broadcast in the early 1980s, the KVIE Art Auction has grown into a cornerstone of the Sacramento arts scene, bringing together artists, collectors, and supporters in a shared celebration of creativity and public media.

Why Delta Print Group Volunteered

Delta Print Group has proudly partnered with PBS KVIE for more than a decade, providing high-quality printing and mailing services for their monthly programming guide. Through this partnership, we help share stories of art, education, and culture throughout Northern California.

Volunteering at the Art Auction was a natural extension of that relationship. This year, five Delta Print Group team members including Kasey Cotulla, Kelsey McGinnis, Luke Zinky, Chris Ekasala, and Laura Ekasala joined KVIE’s volunteer team to help operate the phone bank during the live broadcast.

Our team assisted bidders, answered questions, and supported auction logistics while enjoying the excitement of connecting community members with beautiful works of art.
